A couple days ago I got a request from a lender to drive by the property at 12577 FM 2276 in Kilgore and give my opinion of value. I finally got a chance to go by the place yesterday and it is definitely a fixer upper on about half an acre. It is a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home with about 1056 sq. ft. The roof looks fine but there are many things in need of repair. I was able to get inside and there was a lot of  junk that the previous owners left behind. It could be a nice home after lots of TLC. I told the lender I thought it would probably sell at $12,000, and then they said I could list it! It’s not quite in the computer yet but here is one picture of it on the left. I wasn’t expecting to get a listing when I went out there but of course I’m excited about it.

In the middle of the day I got a call from the owner of my listing on 200 Forrest Hill Rd. A buyer had contacted her and already come by and toured the property. They were very interested in buying the house so she gave me their information so I could help them write the contract. I wasn’t able to get in touch with them yesterday but hopefully today I’ll be able to set up an appointment.

In the evening I had a showing on Berry St. My buyers were considering possibly making an offer but they wanted to look at another house nearby on Fuller. I called the listing agent of that house but she couldn’t get the owners on the phone so we weren’t able to go by and tour the home. We’ll go see that one tonight.

I also got word from clients of mine in AZ  that are relocating. They wanted to make an offer on a home in Gilmer, so we are working on finalizing the offer details.

My wife has a doctors appointment at 2:45 today so I’ll have to be available for that. Until then it’s back to work, and after that it’s back to work. 🙂 I’ve got two showings this evening at 6 and 7:30. I’m looking forward to a great day!
