I thought of the word Hecticity out of the blue last night, it’s not in most dictionaries but it is in published books and all over the web. It means the state of being hectic and that certainly describes my life right now. Now that i’m working with numerous clients the hecticity of being a Longview REALTOR® is starting to hit me. I suppose once I get more experienced I’ll be able to handle it better but right now it’s a little overwhelming.

After consulting with my broker and several other of my fellow agents I have been having second thoughts about whether my $12,000 house is really worth that. I’m probably going to tell the owner that I can’t list it unless it’s priced lower. Unfortunately that will mean they will owe more than it’s worth.

I finally got a hold of the buyers who are wanting to make an offer on my house for sale on 200 Forrest Hill Rd. They are ready to make the offer but they are very busy and I might not get to write their offer till monday. The sellers have discovered that their loan payoff is a little more than they can handle once the house is sold so we have begun the short sale(selling a home for less than the payoff amount) process. It looks like the bank will approve it.

After showing them two houses over the past couple days, I’m writing meeting with clients today at 11 to write an offer! They are still working on getting a pre-approval but I’m going to have the offer all ready to go until they can get their pre-approval.

My other showing went well and I help the buyers figure how to begin the pre-approval process so they can make an offer on the house. Still waiting to here back from a number of other clients.

As a Longview real estate agent one day could be very relaxed but the next one be totally crazy. You never know what to expect! Tonight my wife and I are having dinner and playing games with some good friends of ours. That should be a nice break from all that’s going on.
