I went in to see the general surgeon, Dr. Pevey yesterday morning. He took a look at the bump on my and said it could  be a number of different things and that we couldn’t really find out what it is until it is cut out. The incision he would need to make was too big for him to do in the office so he scheduled me for surgery next week at Good Shepherd. I wish I could just do that but I have very little money and I’ve already spent $185 for two doctors to tell me I should get the bump cut out. I’m waiting to hear from Good Shepherd what their cash price for surgery will be but I’ve heard it could be more than $8,000! At that price my wife and I could take a vacation to Indonesia, get the surgery done there, come back and still save money. I’m trying to find out if there are some other cheaper options.

When I got to the office from the hospital I called about a missing AC unit on a foreclosure sale I’m working on and found out that HUD wont do anything about it even though they did not clearly inform us that it was missing. Foreclosures can be cheap but they sure are frustrating to deal with. I also got a counter-offer on the Berry St. house and, after talking with the buyers, responded with another counter-offer.

I’m working with several buyers on getting their pre-approval from the bank. If you are looking for a home that’s the first thing that should be done even before beginning your search. Once you have the pre-approval you can tell me what you’re looking for and we can look at homes confident that you’ll be able to purchase one of them.

I didn’t hear anything from my Lone Star house buyers but hopefully today we can get together to write the offer. After work my wife and I went over to my sisters for dinner and then went to bible study at a friends house.

Now to take on the new day!
